I absolutely love the Deadpool character in the movies, and wondered if his comic persona was the same as the wit/humor we get in movies?

Super heroes get boring, vigilantes are much more entertaining and story can be endless.

He's more insane in the comic. Lot of inner dialogue.

Very similar besides that.

Deadpool is a lot more heroic in the movies than in the comics.

A lot of the stuff from the films came from the issues but was a LOT more sociopathic, including Blind Al being his prisoner whom he would torture if anyone came into his house.

That first bit in the film of him with the pizza guy? He killed him in the comics then Bullseye killed the guy whose house it was.

I think You would like the 2000s runs.

I read a lot after I played The game and really thought the movie did him
Justice.

Wonder why they didn't go as dark with the movies?

dark, vigilante movies are some of the best. People want to see the flaws of the main character, no matter how messed up they can be. Or at least i would.

Because Ryan Reynolds wanted to say frick you for that stupid arse wolverine movie. The entire movie was a frick you to those producers and studio heads. I loved it.

Go with She Hulk if you want full time hero wallbreaker.

Or Gwenpoole if you want 4th wall sadness.

My favorite She-Hulk run had to be the Superhuman Law one, where she sued the Daily Bugle on behalf of Spider-Man over slanted coverage.
