7/20/16 for me. Damn near same amounts every day. Dark times for me back then

I'm a recovering alcoholic and hang out with mostly recovering alcoholics, and I don't see how this is possible. I was up to a fifth a day before I quit and it was almost a total blackout all day. I'm not saying you're lying, I know of another guy that said he drank 3 fifths of tequila a day for years. Just saying, from one drunk to another, I don't see how that is possible. I was admitted to the hospital one time with a BAC of .438 or something like that and I don't even know how I got there. How you could do 3 x that on a daily basis escapes me.
Glad you stopped though and I know the struggle. Those withdrawals were the worst experience of my life and I swear that I would not wish that on my worst enemy. Absolute misery for 3 days, shaking so bad I couldn't light a cigarette, hearing cats all around me that weren't there, etc. Pure hell.
