I play in a couple different charity tournaments that support diseases that essentially make you blind.
In one of them they blind you on a par3 and closest to the pin wins a prize.
Another they make you wear a goofy helmet on a par4 and you start at 0 strokes wherever you end up driving the ball to.
I have seen the cannon/shooter thing at a number of tournaments.
I’ve seen tee off from the women’s tees.

Blindfolded would be tough ... and off topic, the thought reminded me of an old movie from the early ‘80s called “If You Could See What I Hear” based on the life of a blind musician when he attended college. He played golf blind and I believe the notes at the end of the movie referenced that he continued playing for years and was a pretty decent player. Pretty good movie.
