They signed a full exclusive deal with PES
So unlike when Dortmund or Liverpool did they were still in FIFA

All this bullshite with exclusive licenses for teams and leagues is killing sports games. There’s no competition and no reason for developers to improve the games. It’s all built around milking microtransactions now. I haven’t bought one since 2014.
Madden has been garbage for like ten years now. FIFA hasn’t innovated in years, either. NBA 2K is going down the drain in recent years.
When I was a kid, NBA, MLB, and NFL games actually had competition, so it was a constant arms race to improve graphics and gameplay. Now you’re just paying $60 for a roster update. Sometimes they even remove content and features of previous games. Horrible value for your money.

it’s just not just offline modes that’s UT has taken a toll on. even online seasons(which had been my favorite mode in 15,16,17,and 18) is suffering because of UT. until 12 year olds and youtube stars stop making EA’s nut on pack openings, the game is helpless
