Last year I was drinking the kool aid for the Bama game. Well I’m drinking it again in 2019. Want some of y’alls Opinions on what’s different this year.

Brady and playmakers at RB. It will be interesting to see how the Brady/Ensminger dynamic plays out in crunch time. Also, if the offense starts out slow, will they scale things back or go forward with up tempo offense.

Definitely the Brady offense and more experience on the offensive line, but also a truly dynamic pass rusher along with good depth across the defensive line.

This is a great point that I didn't think of.

I am too.

Defense- I think will be as good or possibly better than last year.

Offense- Burrow with another year. The offensive line hopefully improving. Brady's concept helping the O Line, even if they don't show a ton of improvement. Overall better RB play. Joe Brady being involved in the offense (this is the only one I'm not really sure of. I'm just speculating and hoping that he will help improve the offense big time).

Burrow has been here over a year and has worked with the same receivers. His experience and understanding of the game will pay huge dividends. He is a guy who can run the RPO and has the confidence of the coaches.
Brady's influence in the passing game and getting playmaker out in space.
Increased running back talent.
Ensminger's buy in to Brady's input.
Orgeron's maturation about embracing a modern offensive philosophy. Orgeron knows it's put up or shut up time about offense. He understands that you don't beat better teams in today's game by sitting on the ball. He knows the recruits want to see progress in the offense or they lose interest. He got his mulligan with Canada. There are no more do-overs.
Really this is about O-line progressing.

11-1 should be the bar set for 2019. No excuses.

1) DL skill and depth
2) Burrow in 2nd year and 5th year senior
3) WR and RB starters are MUCH more experienced, deep and talent.
4) Oline is better
5) Brady.

Drink up !!!

Offensively, Burrow will be free to run and used as a runner. We'll also have more diverse looks for opponents to figure out.

Defensively, we'll be able to manage the trenches better.

Explosive RBs to go with a screen and short passing game.

This year is a better chance. Returning QB, better defense, hopefully, Brady can bring a more diverse passing game. If LSU can stay healthy, it will be our best chance in a long time and I would love for LSU to beat their asses in Tuscaloosa.
