by several large aircrafts on top of a storm like Barry, that would reduce or eliminate strengthening, but was possibly damaging to marine life..

Would you be on board with spraying this system?

Dolphins with ice lasers will only prevent hurricanes from forming

No, we would have to pay insurance regardless. Might as well be able to use it. Our ecosystem is a little more fragile than you might thing also.

No.
We are here as a result of nature.
You go frick it up, you'll bound to have even more unintended consequences than you think.

I plan on shooting at it. If enough of us do that, we can turn the storm.

AS terrible as they are, hurricanes are am integral part of our climate. I'm not sure what the overall ramifications to the global climate would be, but I'd think it's probably not good.

Hurricanes are the means by which the atmosphere attempts to achieve equilibrium by transferring heat from the tropical regions toward the poles. Mess with that process and you're asking for trouble.

Absolutely not.

Let Mother Nature do Mother Nature.

Consider the BP oil spill and its overall impact. Evacuate and rebuild.

Why dont they just build a Dutch Boy? Clearly the technology and capability to control weather is there. If it's in a movie, how could it not exist in the real world?

How about filling in all of those fault lines with expanding foam to prevent earthquakes in the future.

We could also cap off volcanoes with some Flexseal.
