What

Does the study address the human contribution from all GHGs, deforestation, etc?

That only exists in your mind.

There is no data presented or no source for their underlying data cited.

So they didn't fake the data to make it support their pre-determined conclusion? Refreshing honesty, I'd say.

The problem like all political subjects today is both mainstream views have been hijacked by extremists.

Those that claim doomsday due to climate change, and those who claim it doesn't exist.

Nothing gets done because everything is extreme today.

You are exactly correct in that assessment.

Someone asked what we should be doing in reply to my earlier post. The complete answer is FAR beyond the scope of a forum post but IMO the entire US should be approaching it like the DoD seems to be. They have fully accepted climate change and have been working to understand how it impacts the combat readiness of the nation's military and implementing changes to avoid losses of effectiveness due to these changes.

Take for example NYC which is the financial hub of the country. Are we going to move these vital assets or are they going to invest in the infrastructure to be a city under sea level?

The fact that climate change is a political issue is assinine, it is true for the causes as well BUT at least there is some legitimate argument over the contribution of the causes.

Me too, doing a brisket, so my contribution will be higher than yours, brisket takes longer, though the fire is lower, hmm.... maybe a tie

Well yeah, any non government funded thermal/climate researcher has came to the same conclusion. Climate Change is real but man made climate change 100% is not a thing.

I get what you are saying but conclusions without facts/data are simply useless and if used to support a pre-determined conclusion are just as damaging.

As a contrast to this 6 page paper on the expansive issue of climate change, I published a paper on the causal relationship between the bleaching (common parlance for the coral expelling the symbiotic Zooxanthella Dinoflagellate algae that live in the coral's tissue) of a single Acropora specie and environmental conditions AKA salinity, turbidity, cloud cover and temperature. That paper was 120 pages long with over 700 citations from over 400 works and the citations took 35 pages to catalog. Not to mention all the self-collected data from limited variable testing.

One has a chance at becoming a seminal work citation, the other is closer to an op-ed.

Do you have any cites to the papers that conclude man had 0% contribution to climate change? That defies all logic and not the conclusion of the paper in question here.

I think when people say this they are either exagerating or they are deflecting. Man obviously has an effect, the problem is we aren't going to be able to solve anything in with public sector solutions.

Mo Brooks has this up on his sit: "BIPARTISAN PANEL OF SCIENTISTS CONFIRMS HUMANS ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR PAST 20,000 YEARS OF GLOBAL WARMING." one of the best articles I have read. Earth has been warming for 20,000 years at a consistent rate. A hell of a long time before the Industrial Revolution.
