Mine stays at 68 all day and night. I don’t want to come home to an 83 degree living room and wait 3 hours for it to cool off to a comfortable temp.

Unless you live in a Yeti, I know your house isn't 68 degrees at the end of the day..
Your a/c will work it's arse off to keep your house 17-20 degrees below the outside temp.

We keep ours on about 70 at night and 72 during the day. I screwed up Saturday and raised it too high in the morning, it never caught up in our south and west facing rooms.

Are people just clueless on smart thermostats?
And the money they save??
*For example, when mine senses I leave the house, it sets itself to 77. At 3:00 it drops down to 73 as I get home at 5:30.
