Texas will show up for the game and it will be a good one.

We play the game on the field and not on paper and this game is no way shape or form a automatic win for LSU and in fact could be one of the toughest games of the season outside our annual BAMA game.

Sounds like you are nervous and looking for some support.
I think it's a 50/50 game. Others may not. We shall see in September.

Obviously, you know nothing about their defense. This is just stupid.

They want LSU to lose so they can do a "see, I told you so" with regards to Tom Herman.

If you actually think this, it says a lot about you

How so? I want LSU to win, and win big. However, we still have people whining about how Joe Alleva let Tom Herman choose Texas over LSU, and these people will be piping up like magpies on this board should LSU lose to the Longhorns.

I am excited about the new offense but keep in mind we could still be working out the kinks on the road in a very hostile environment.

So does every LSU fan. If there is someone out there that actually wants Texas to beat LSU so they can score some kind of internet victory about Herman, that person isn't an LSU fan. It's pretty simple.

This is what worries me. That we will all get excited about this "new offense" and it'll turn out to be no better than what we've seen for the past decade.

I see this being a Miami style arse whipping. 28-3/31-3 at half.

Texas is better than what Miami was. I think we will play well and win but blowing a team out on the road is not the same as going up big at a neutral site.

This is a true road game. Texas is going to be better than you're giving them credit for.

Not a team I would take lightly.

Georgia in 2017 went on the road to Notre Dame and barely won.

Actually, you're the one who's confused, so I'll try to clear it up for you. Born and raised in BR, alumni of both schools, currently reside in Austin.

I doubt the talent gap is THAT big. They've recruited some good defensive players the last few years, particularly in the secondary.

They've got a coupled of 5*s in the secondary, but they're not very experienced.

Overall talent, Texas isneck and neck with LSU

LINKf

This was 2018, 2019 hasn't been released yet. Plus, it's recruited talent, not developed
