Most entertaining option would be the knicks, but they can’t make a deal for him right now. They don’t have the cap space to absorb his contract, can’t trade away players they just signed, and even if they traded away every player already on their roster (minus RJ), they’d only be able to receive back 30 mil in a trade. They would need to wait until December 15th so they can trade away newly signed players.

It’s likely that it’d take awhile to find a willing trade partner. Also, pretty sure Westbrook has a 15% trade kicker. The only way Westbrook is likely to get moved is if he is willing to decline that massive player option in the final year (he would need to desperately want out of OKC to turn down about $47 mil)

They are desperate for a PG

I'm sure they would be willing to send out Covington, Culver, Dieng (salary match) and 2 1st rounders

Houston is also considered a viable landing spot for him, I dont know how there would be enough balls for him Harden and CP3

Nothing

They have no feasible way of trading for him before December because they cannot match salary until their signings are able to be traded

I would love to see the dysfunction in Houston with Westbrook and Harden. Nobody would get a chance to dribble outside of them two.

What Harden wants may take a backseat to “Can we beat PG13 and Kawhi as-is?”

I am sure Harden would give up Chris Paul for Westbrook.

OKC got Miami picks in the PG13 trade so why make Miami better by trading them Russ?

Rockets seem super unlikely. I just don't get that at all.

I think Minny & Detroit are the 2 most likely spots

Minny has the money & assets to make it work and they need to take a risk after missing out on DLO and the West getting better. Pistons only have a few more chances with Griffin & Drummond. Either they make a move or blow it up.
