Seems to me Watford fills in nicely along with just about everybody that matters coming back.
Another regular season SEC title?
Sorry, all the football talk is stagnant...

Back to back championships is gonna be tough. Especially without Kavell and Waters. We really need another big.
I personally expect another sweet 16ish season but won’t be mad if they fall in the round of 32.
Rome wasn’t built in a day but you’d have to be blind to not see the progress Will has made.
Give him a little time and he’ll give us more championships.

They could be in the mix for a SEC title, but I would rank them, at least, behind UK, Auburn and Florida to start the year in what will probably be a slightly weaker SEC than last year.
Obviously, LSU has a lot of returning talent. The questions are what kind of offensive team will they be without Waters for a full season (vs 1-2 games) and can they withstand the big hole in the frontcourt defensively?

I'd be happy with 12-6 and a Round of 32 game
That being said I think their potential is much higher considering I think Waters and Reid can be replaced. I think the way Bigby Williams played in March will be a much harder role to fill. People are overlooking that.

Top 3 finish in the league and 6/8 seed with first round win is what I see happening. As a long time season ticket holder this warms my heart.

We should be in the mix to win the sec again. If we get the big kid to reclassify to 2019 and commit to the Tigers we should have a replacement for bigby williams. I think we would have a better team than last year if that happens.

I'm just thankful we will have our coach for the tournament!

Right now I see us around 4th. Florida and Kentucky are probably the top choice for early season favorites.

This team is going to be really good. James Bishop is going to turn heads. Great addition to this team and will be a more than adequate PG. He's much better than our fan base realizes.
Like others have said, the biggest hole is a rim protector. Bigby-Williams will be missed. However, I see Williams and Days making big jumps this year over last. Taylor was our best defender last year and I can see Williams becoming a much bigger force, defensively, this year.
This is a Top 3-4 SEC team and a repeat Sweet 16 team.
