Threads like this are sad. It’s unfortunate that parents like yours keep procreating. They keep passing down same genetic flaw that is responsible for the people who thought Obama was the Antichrist and think Trump is literally Hitler.

If Texas and or Florida flip blue permanently, how do you think this country looks after?
I guess it's cool to not care, though very indicative of a child.

Well, that may be the cure to the problem, feel me? We just tell em Guatemala's been relocated over there, in that direction. Get to steppin....that water's just an illusion.

quote:Much like Rand Paul, though he is slightly too isolationist for me. I also like Ted Cuz on limited government and Constitutional interpretation, though h is a bit too SoCon on social issues. I supported Cruz in the primaries (financially and by volunteering) because Rand was too much a long shot.
What would you ideal GOP candidate look like. If you had to pick let’s say 5 issues. You don’t have to be specific just list them out.
I take a holistic view of immigration. The first step is reducing entitlements for American citizens, to increase their participation in the work force and to thus reduce demand for immigrant labor. The second step is to limit the supply of potential immigrant labor by eliminating access to entitlements and by discarding birthright citizenship for their offspring. The third step is a guest worker program with thorough vetting of participants for criminal background and significant penalties for working in the US if not a participant in the guest worker program.
If all that is done (all of which will SAVE money), there will be no need for expensive boondoggles like The Great Wall of Trump.

none of this will happen barring some major economic disaster

Wow. Even you can see how crappy the Democrats are.
PS - I still have to deduct 20 points, though, because I'm sure you voted for Obama who was no better than these 2020 freaks.

2016 was the first time I did not vote GOP for POTUS since I started voting in 1984. In 2016, I voted LPA, for exactly the reason described above.

If all of my kids and most of theirs were not conservative, I'd say, who gives a rat's arse. The majority will run us into the ground, make everybody miserable, then when miserable enough, opt for what we, as a pitiful bunch of pansey asses deserve. then 50 years or so, it will get so bad, the phoenix will rise from the ashes, and freedom ill fleetingly be appreciated until the youth from their parental heroes vote us back into another crap fest. Raise the voting age to 25, require a voting license with a 100 IQ or better, then maybe we will have something. But human beings seem to have a genetic stupidity about them which seeks authoritarianism.

Thanks for sharing Hank.
I kinda like these ideas I just don’t think your step 1 would ever work because any candidate that ran on that platform would never sniff the White House.
I honestly support all of it but even if Trump or any GOP candidate ran on that I just don’t see them winning the WH. The media would have a field day running non stop clips about entitlement cuts.

There is no question, White men will continue rapidly dwindling in relative population. The entire establishment is organized specifically to facilitate this eventuality.
That said, there is no natural law preventing a minority ethnic from thriving, perhaps even in a manner akin to a parasite.

If you’re looking for a group to blame, start with white liberals. There are tax-paying patriotic blacks and browns in this country who want to see this country succeed as much as you do.

This is true, but if more are a net burden then it's a failing business model

I don't get how someone gets to the point of actually wanting to leave our country and not fight for it. That just sounds like being a quitter. I realize life is short, and we only live once. I get that we are headed in a shite direction but at least shite is coming to a head right now.
Fight for your country.
Don't leave it. That's exactly what they want. You'll be complicit in moving their agenda that much closer to a win.
Stick around, be one of us, and earn your country by giving a shite and teaching your kids about it.

Do you think it would turn the US into a developing country? Is this where we talk about civil war? The hyperbole and alarmism on both sides seems more indicative of a childlike mindset.

I think it would look something like New Orleans on a large scale
Very limited middle class, giant underclass, and the secluded rich who make policy.
A Dem controlled electoral map would lead to higher taxes on just about everything, effectively wrecking the middle class as we know it. People would have no pride in the country and things would be run like shite.
