He was good buddies with Robbie Dauterive (brother martin wrestling coach) who also played rugby at LSU. Apparently was a pretty cool guy.
Lorenzen was at Kentucky during my time at LSU. Dude was a unicorn for sure.

His genetics are that of a 500 lb man. His football ability kept his health issues at bay, but the moment his playing career ended he was on the clock.
I hope he gets better. An infection isn't per se a death sentence.

Why not a gastric bypass surgery? If he pulls through this he needs to do the surgery asap.

He's the only player I recall who could throw for 350 against your team and still make you smile and laugh out loud in appreciation of his unique gifts.

Could have something to do with his current condition. Supposedly he lost all that weight within a year. Losing too much weight too fast like that can actually cause problems, especially with the heart.
