re: Has any "Super Star" ever been scammed as much as AD

He’s such a beta cuck. He makes Durant look alpha as frick. I’ve never seen such a pussy in the NBA. He let LeBron and Paul stick it in his arse, pull it out put it in his mouth and then for the finally blow their shitty load all over his fricked up face. The cuckery has been unmatched in the history of the NBA.

But he’s making 10 million from Space Jam

Davis got what he wanted and the Pelicans did as well. Time to move on.

I think most people realize this. Except the Lakers.

Not really a super star, but Nerlens Noel comes to mind.
-Rejected Dallas' offer 4 years / $70 million in 2017 offseason
-Fired his agent and signed with Klutch
-Ends up resigning with Dallas for 1 year / $4 million qualifying offer
-Plays for $1.7 million in OKC last year
Would've made around $35 million over the past 2 years and instead made less than $6 million. Thanks Klutch

They already announced he waived the $4million because it was being made up to him in Space Jam 2. That’s signed, sealed, delivered. Done deal.
Shady as F, but nothing can be done about it. It’s an outside source of revenue he’s been paid for something separate of the NBA

No one saying this seems to know what the trade kicker is there for. The kicker is there to de-incentivize the Pelicans from trading him. Him requesting the trade then accepting kicker would have been an a-hole move.

He would have done it to be petty if not for it hurting the Lakers.
Gayle’s money but LA’s cap space.

He forced the trade, he basically broke his contract and was not owed that money as far as I am concerned. He would have hamstrung the dumbass team that traded for him if he took the cash.
Not sure how these players get away with not abiding by the CBA, their end of the agreement, and then have the audacity to call out the owners as if they are getting shorted.
AD didn’t get bullied, he got manipulated because he is weak

shite like this happens in the lull between CBAs.
You bet your arse it will come up in the next negotiations, as you have had some very public situations of players misbehaving while under contract. AD attempting to force a trade with a year and a half left on his deal was fricking ridiculous.

Ummm kd is out for the next 18 months and likely leaving. Klay is out all next season.
They kind of are going somewhere

They're taking a one season hiatus.
Given that they are offering five year max deals to both Klay and KD, they may be back the season after that. It'll just be at the expense of some bench depth and a LOT of luxury tax payments.

I’m sure to AD it will all be worth it if he wins a ring
I just do not understand this ring or bust culture in the NBA. The rings are empty—they don’t mean anything when you get them like that. Legacy is defined by how the fans view you 10yrs after you retire not by how many rings you have. No one looks at Chris Bosh as an all out great because he has a couple of rings
Posted on 6/29/19 at 7:04 am to The_Duke
Bc the GOAT list starts with MJ who had six. Nobody cares about what the fans thought. MJ is an arse hole. Character does not define your legacy in the nba, only rings do. Only rings.
Posted on 6/29/19 at 7:22 am to mylsuhat
Rich Paul isn’t much of an agent. Tony has lost a considerable amount of money since signing with Klutch.
Posted on 6/29/19 at 8:18 am to ezride25
Character may not define you but the way you get your rings and the journey matters. Legacy is what the FANS think of you. MJ is just as great with 4 rings and is often noted that he doesn’t have the most rings do that argument alone should invalidate this ring or bust culture in the NBA.
