Allowed them to overlap at least twice in the back right. Wtf.

My god, he’s letting them get away with anything.

Edit: Gritty win, baws. Well deserved.

55 points. It's unreal with a game in hand.

Trent had a howler

Subtle but brilliant move to basically have Mané shadow Traore. He definitely helped keep him in check

This team just continues to grind out victories

And another clean sheet, we're starting to find our defensive footing which is terrifying

Great hard fought win. Good play overall, would like to get Salah going, just seems to be a tad bit off.

Wolves are worthy of a top 5 finish this year. Sneaky good team. Feel like Nuno will become a hot commodity if they keep form.

Wolves are top 4 team. Sorry we don’t have bandwagons.

the table disagrees, but thanks for beating City...

On another note, it is nice to see Gomez back to his pre-injury form.. he has looked great recently...

We had an iffy start. We will finish top 4.

I'd ask for a ban bet, but seeing as everyone outside of us and City are not good this year... so yeah they might but not because they're good, but because the other clubs all aren't good

won’t go that far but Wolves are in the running. I still think that once relative safety is secured, Wolves need to put their eggs in the Europa basket and settle for mid table in the Premier League

Would love to see the Wolves end Top 4 and Sheffield end at 5.

But, to reiterate what I said above, the "offside" call (though bullshite) was completely consistent with the shitty "offside" calls that the PL has been making all damn year via VAR.

So, yeah, Wolves got fricked by the same shitty standard everybody else has been fricked by this season. Fully in favor of changing that standard in Summer 2020 but, as of now, every team should have to play the full season under the same shitty standard.

Good graphic on why there needs to be a margin of error when VAR looks at offside.

That’s a cool argument except for the fact that it assumes the defenders haven’t moved at all across the two frames. While all that is going on the defenders are moving back up the field too. Whose to say they don’t actually make up the diff?

They need to just update the rule to only allow a 45 sec decision time to the ref. That way obvious errors get fixed and close ones get called on the field.

The mention in point #3 that the margin could be larger if the defender is moving up field at the same time.

https://www.standard.co.uk/sport/football/peter-crouch-over-harry-kane-tottenhams-team-of-the-decade-poll-hijacked-by-liverpool-and-arsenal-a4323466.html

quote:

A three-man shortlist of Jermain Defoe, Peter Crouch and Harry Kane - chosen by the club - went up against each other to earn the place up front of their best XI of the decade.

As expected, Kane took a dominant early lead after growing into one of the world's best strikers over the past five years.

However, a number of Liverpool and Arsenal fan accounts reacted by putting their support behind Crouch and hand the striker a commanding lead.

The poll finished with almost 600,000 votes cast, with Crouch racking in 61 per cent of the vote to Kane's 32%.
