Most times I hear wives say things like, "I wanted a tahoe for family trips but I also feel safer in it"

Well, it’s been scientifically proven that in the event of a crash you are less likely to die in an full size SUV than any other type of vehicle. We had a long thread on the subject here not long ago.

Keeping up with the Jones's. Unless you have 3 or more kids, it isn't necessary but to each their own.

I was told I needed a big SUV because of my driving...now I can't park my SUV.

Minivans are the best family vehicle out there. There is just this "uncool" stigma attached to them.

It's like parking a boat. I come into work early so no one can see me trying to park it.

We rented one on vacation one time and the kids loved it. They thought it was the coolest thing ever because of all the storage it had. I liked it too, but Mrs. 1BigTigerFan thinks she's not old enough to be seen in one.

Just be careful which one you buy. We have friends who have a Nissan Quest. Thing is an underpowered piece of junk.

I love mine. I've got three young kids, so we need it. You get used to having to do a three point turn just to get into a parking spot.
