I don’t think many people are going to melt because he’s not been mentioned here in a while. Everyone seems to really like the QB’s we have committed.

Jamarcus was slow as molasses
he ran a 4.8, right below what Flynn did (4.75 iirc)

He'll never get his accuracy in check. You either have it or you don't Finley doesn't have it. Physical gifts and athleticism will get him through but you'll always be saying "if only he had accuracy".
The most you can expect is him to improve it best he can but I seriously doubt he'll ever be accurate. I think accuracy is incredibly underrated when people evaluate QBs they always think it's something that can be coached up. To some degree, it's true but it's still very much natural gifts similar to how a QB can anticipate a route when he throws. You can practice it a thousand times over but some guys are just naturally more gifted there.
I think accuracy has lots to do with anticipation on routes where the QB places the ball and that's what really separates great ones from the average ones.

Aside from Jameis, when’s the last time Jimbo recruited a QB that amounted to anything? And really, he got Winston by default because Texas completely dropped the ball by not recruiting him.
That being said, I like King but if Brady feels better with Finley and Johnson then I’m not gonna question him.

Christian Ponder and EJ Manuel both went in the 1st round.

I’ll give you Ponder. Manuel is a pretty big reach.

King has an offer, it's not up to Brady.

What you mean, comparison wise?
What does iirc stand for?
And what about cb? It was in the op.
Is it a sheet that's the final thing to sign... I mean does a cb make it official and is there anyway to go back on it?

"crystal ball". Recruiting experts make picks based on the info they have.

If CB's were official, LSU would have 6 straight National Championships.

Crystal ball. It's a prediction by an expert on 247. Go to a recruits 247 page and you'll see a section listing crystal ball predictions. Recruiting experts put them in ahead of commitments and it works as a system to determine who the better experts are.

wanting LSU to drop MJ or TJ for him
not for this dude... he'll be a decent player, but he doesn't move the meter, at least not for me, he doesn't...

I've seen him make many accurate throws. Go look at his camp performances online.
Inaccuracy can be caused by poor footwork/technique, poor timing, poor anticipation (as you said), or simply lack of ability. If a guy doesn't have the ability to be accurate, there's not much a coach can do to fix that. I think this was kind of the case with Brandon Harris.
But footwork/technique can be improved, and timing/anticipation can get better with experience.
His camp/7v7 performances make me think he has the ability to be accurate in games. It'll just be on him and the coaches to develop it.

I know a lot of people here have been interested in this kid and wanting LSU to drop MJ or TJ for him.
IDK who these people are, but dropping Finley or Johnson would be a mistake. I think both have NFL careers ahead of them, especially Johnson. He has been learning to read NFL defenses for years being tutored by his dad. He will come in and be ready from a knowledge standpoint. It may take some time to get use to the speed of college ball, but he will have the tools to succeed. And Finley has a pro ready body and arm right now. I just don't see getting rid of either of them for King. I think King is a exceptional talent, don't get me wrong, but for LSU Finley and Johnson are better fits. I don't see King as good a drop back passer as Johnson and Finley.

No, TJ is near 6'8" and if he goes off this year could be a 5*. Of course Max is a solid 4* stud on everybody's site. They are solid to LSU and vice versa. No controversy here.

How do you know Finley won't be a an accurate passer?
The kid makes many laser accurate passes in the camps he attends, and he flat out throws frozen ropes. The ball flies out of his hand almost like when an arrow is shot, and the ball is on a line right to the receiver.
I've said all along Finley's arm strength and potential are off the charts, but he sure could use some help with some other competent players around him.If you have ever seen his highlights the other kids look like fricking 6th graders for Christ's sake. That team he is on sucks arse big-time.
At LSU he will be surrounded by other elite talent which I am betting he will be able to make very good use of.
Give Finley a break and let's see what the coaches and he can do once he gets here. Opinions are like arse holes, everybody has one, but making a judgement that he will never get better at this point is a ridiculous comment to make, and will in all likelihood be proven to be completely inaccurate as well.

I have to say, a composite 96 overall grade, top qb out of texas, kinda sucks we could get him but wont...

Yes because our coaches don’t know what the average retard posting here knows.
They are in over their heads for sure.
Starting to think another fan base has infiltrated this board with trolls.
