I used a stern saver.
Stern Saver
It attaches to the transom with epoxy, and no drilling through hull. Been attached for 6 years and 3 diff transducers.

For y’all with the stern savers, you’re not worried them falling off? How long have y’all had them?

I use starboard . You can get a 12x6 3/4 thick piece from Amazon for 11 bucks. I cut it with a skill saw or table saw.. it's enough to do 4 boats.. glue it on with 5200..
