Front Altair is a loaded tanker on fire and adrift about 18 NM off our position.
Kokuka Courageous has fallen silent. It is not being able to be contacted. Its AIS has also gone off air.
from broker:

M.T Front Altair has been abandoned and its all crew has been safely picked up by nearest vessel Hyundai Dubai.
Master of Hyundai Dubai reported cause of fire on Front Altair as surface attack.

Iran really wanting to get this going, wouldn’t doubt they have nuclear capabilities, so they feel like they’re invincible.

The two vessels involved in the incident in the Gulf of #Oman are the Front Altair (Marshall Islands flag) and Kokuka Courageous (Panama Flag).
M.T. Front Altair loaded with Naphtha hit by a surface missile of some sort. All crew have been safely rescued by a passing ship the Hyundai Dubai. Another smaller chemical tanker close-by on fire. Communications have failed with the second ship.
Torpedo appears to have hit the Kokuka Corageous.

The #US Fifth Fleet says the operators of one of the #oil tankers described the incident as an attack. #Iran #Oman

Any speculation on how much oil prices will go up as a result of the attack? Should I start shopping for my F250, Or will it just be a short term spike without enough duration for the 72mt note?

Dang baw is that three separate vessels I just wanted a spike not an all out war!!
And in case no one gets the sarcasm I do not think lives are worth oil prices and f250s
