It goes back to what I've been saying all along regarding psychological projection among the most ardent, crazed O supporters.
They see themselves in O. They see his past which was littered with colossal failures, presumably much like their own. But now O has an opportunity to make it right and prosper, so any time someone expresses anything resembling doubt in his viability as the head coach, it is taken as a personal insult to the most feverish of his backers. It's a twisted, borderline disquieting kind of psychology on display. It goes far beyond just supporting LSU football. It's personal.

Amazing....someone who has yet to prove himself in College first in any capacity is now considered by some to be our next OC. JB may be the next cominng, but before he is given the Throne, have him produce a product for a year or two against top competition!!

It is not a "secret" Ensminger never really wanted the full time position. I imagine that as soon as things are where they need to be, he will return part-time (more likely) or retire...not a secret, not a conspiracy.

I don't know why you would feel the need to put words in my mouth but whatever makes you feel better. The post was an obvious joke and it's been given much more time than it deserved.
Another obvious question is why didn't you ask the original poster about it instead of me if it upset you so bad. Why would I take you seriously if you can't even ask the person responsible for the post whether it was a joke or not.

No doubt Joe has a bright future. It all depends on how well this season goes and how the offense plays. If he passes the test id love to see him as the new OC. Be a shame if we passed him up and he ends up at a rival school doing big things.

I have a friend who is connected to some big dogs. He thinks Ensminger will finish this year as his last under OC contract then Brady we'll get it and he'll take a position coach job.
