Can we stop trying to process players...

I think it’s unfair for people on this board to advocate for the processing of players without any type of information strictly off of rankings on the recruiting websites
The same people are up in arms when a player decommit. You can’t have your cake and eat it too.
The same thing happened last year when the message board recruiting experts were looking to process TK McClendon and Cordale Flott and telling Quentin Skinner to pay his own way, but yet they all were on board for signing day.
So for the people who want to cut Berry, Johnson, Ford and whoever else is at the bottom of the class according to 247 and rivals, cut it out. These are kids who have given their commitment to the school, unless you have any inclination of a coach not honoring that commitment, you saying they shouldn’t be in the class adds no value and actually gives the fan base a bad name.
Again, I am not for processing by the coaches if they feel like some agreement has been broken as far as grade, development etc... I am against the chucklenuts on this board taking info out of their butt and trying to name players because they don't coincide with some 247 ranking.

If they can get better players in the class then they should 100% be processed

I'm all for us, on this message board, not naming specific guys we think should be processed.
But I'm absolutely in favor of the coaches processing guys who either haven't developed like they thought or could be replaced with someone they think is better.

So you think once a player commits to a program that the program should honor that commitment regardless if a better player wants that spot? OK, then go tell recruits the same thing. See how far that gets you. It's a non-binding agreement. That's why some kids will decommit on signing day and go to another school. It's a two-way street bud. And to stay in this game for a long time coaches must take the best players they can get. There's been by far more players that committed to LSU that decommitted than commits that LSU processed out. A whole lot more. That's why its a NON-BINDING agreement.

I liked LSU fans more before I started reading Tigerdroppings. Some of these posters make me embarrassed to be an LSU fan sometimes it’s pathetic.

You're assuming that being processed isn't whats best for the players.
If they aren't going to get playing time and getting buried on the depth chart, then they should move on. Go to a different school that better fits their talent.
Its not out of malice that people get processed.

I am sure several kids are told upfront that they have a conditional scholly with certain demands and such. As long as they are advised of their situation regularly then I don't have a problem with it. Does Bama do the same? Who knows...

Agree with the OP. Jacob Hester was a 3*. You would have processed him!
