He got a standing ovation last night. Following each time he returned to the dugout. The team received one too. Although they made mistakes that cost them the series, there was no lack of heart on that field this past weekend.

I just wanted to make sure fans don't forget about his performance. He was finished the moment he gave up that hit, but CPM let him go and he did manage one more K so it felt like he would be fine.

This is also not a second-guess the coach post.

That said, the box score will forever show he gave up the game winning run but there was so many times earlier in the game where we screwed up on the base paths, something that is 100% on the coaching staff.

But anyways, I digress...
