Wouldn't this just be directly tied to postseason play or are the numbers only considering the regular season?
2017 - Hosted Regional, Super Regional, and went to CWS.
2018 - Traveled to Oregon State Regional
2019 - Hosted Regional and Super Regional

and only 1 team was pre-season #1 with the #1 recruiting class coming into the season. should at least make top 8

If you mean, show up for games, it was standing room only yesterday with a huge turnout. There is no indication that fans won't show up.
