He cried cause he knows there’s the end of some of the best times in his life. I’ve been where he is and it’s heart breaking.

Hess Is crying because he knows when he was needed most his coach did not trust him to pitch and I don't blame the coach at all

Did he want to bat? I don't see Hess being a savior in that situation. Fontenot did all that was asked of him and did a damn good job.

Hess wanted to be a starter, they tried to give him that chance all they could but he was never good at that role

With this umpire’s extremely inconsistent strike zone Hess easily could’ve put 2 guys on with 0 outs
