Sultan (name of guy at my work) talks about our work's upcoming Pride Day

So yesterday at work we got an outlook invite for our Pride Day on July 12 at our work, as well as an invite for our work's meet up at the San Diego pride parade on July 14.
Pride Day at Work on July 12 we are encouraged to wear rainbow colored clothing(no dress code) and there will be activities and such throughout the day celebrating pride.
Then the SD Pride Parade on July 14 our work is organizing a meet up there so we can all celebrate pride.
I declined both invites, by the way, and will not be participating in either. However, I kept this to myself
Sultan, however, is saying that anyone who doesn't participate should be put on a "red flag" list. Not sure what he means by "red flag" list but I am guessing a blacklist or shitlist of people to keep an eye on. He said in 2019 there is no reason whatsoever for someone not to participate. He said its one thing if you have plans on Sunday July 14, but if you aren't participating at work on July 12 that means you are doing so to be defiant and make an anti-LGBT statement.
Do you agree with Sultan?

Sounds like you have a future lawsuit in the making

frick Sultan. Sounds like he’s creating a hostile work environment and threatening anyone who chooses not to participate.

quote:No. Don't say anything about your non-participation but if you get asked, just say you're not participating due to your religious beliefs. If anybody gives you shite about it, you have a case for workplace harassment because religion is a protected class.
Do you agree with Sultan?
Also, what kind of shitty liberal employer do you have that has a pride day at the office?

They’d be out of luck with me that day. Unless you count my Pink Floyd Dark Side of the Moon t-shirt.

Tell Sultan that you're gay but you identify as straight.

Tell him/her/it to STFU and mind his/her/it's business.

You should just go about your business like you always do
