Wouldn’t it be more racist to market a beer as being exclusively for people of color?
There are Mexican style cervesa’s, India Pale Ales, Belgians, German beers, Japanese beers, Brazilian style black beers, jamaican beers, ciders ratlers, etc. There’s nothing stopping blacks from starting breweries or consuming craft beer. Most black dudes I know would just rather stick to Budweiser, and that’s their preference. There’s no discrimination going on conscious or unconscious.

What daiquiri shops are you frequenting that don’t have a ton of white women over 40 there? Where I live, the daq shops are always full of white people both inside and in the drive-through.

This. IPA’s are usually nothing but massive bitter bombs with some citrus juice in there. Sours are sometimes decent. Good Belgians, hefeveisens, and imperials, ales, and porters with just the right balance of dryness, sweetness, and bitterness are extremely hard to find.

While i do like some IPAs and Sours, i will admit that hipster douchbags have ruined IPAs pushing ridiculous AA levels making them damn near undrinkable. It's like the damn hot sauce that pushes the scoville unit levels to melting your face, no point in it.
you have to actually go to the tap rooms to get decent offerings of other beers. But i'm in WA now and they have a lot to offer on the shelf besides IPAs and sours. I'm partial to Rye's and you can't find them anywhere.

I'm partial to ambers and browns, so my drink selection is usually from the soda and iced tea portion of the menu. At least the Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Ale is popular right now. That's good stuff.
Sours aren't totally terrible yet, but I can already tell they're going to go the way of the IPAs.

They are getting too fruit-flavor based.
Although Avondale had a Plum Tart Sour a month or so ago that was pretty damn good.

I’m into hefeveisens right now. This Ayinger that I tried the other night is probably the best one I’ve ever had out of a bottle. The best one period was one I tried at the Abita Brewery, believe it or not. It was part of a small test batch that I don’t think they ever made again for whatever reason. While I was there, I also tasted a few other test batches that ended up eventually getting distributed like their Subtle Tea and the pina colada coconut ipa.
The best beer I’ve ever tasted was a Madagascar Vanilla Cream Ale from South Platte Park River Brewery in Denver
The best widely available beer would be Chimay Blue.

Sorry, but this bitch is way off. I see a ton of semi-fat soft hipster beer snobs at the trendy craft beer joints. The white guilt is strong in them.
There are also a lot of brands made by freedom loving Patriots, but they aren't the majority as far as I've seen. I could be way off tho.

Their Restoration Ale is my favorite low grav beer, and I don't usually like pale ales. Can't find it Birmingham anymore. I'm betting LA folks are tired of it but I love it.
