Allegedly several people from the group that produced the video got jobs at FOF and were "abusing" the animals to get it on camera. They were eventually found out by the actual staff th

The company put out a big statement apologizing and admitted it was their fault. They never mentioned anything about what you said.

What kind? We had Brangus and some of those bitches were just damned right evil. Never been so happy in my life as the day we sold all 224 head of them.

Mine were brangus. I learned to be gentle with them and they would work fairly easy.. I had a 1 acre area close to my pins that i would cube them in . Then I gate cut the calves between the big pasture and 1 acre. You can work a cow with body language. Check out temple grandin. If someone tried to help me and start being loud the cows would get worked up and go on the war path. I had tiger stripe brafords before and they were the same way.

There is no defending the actions of the individuals in the video, but what is shown multiple times, are a handful of employees acting terribly.

Is it fair to judge a large operation on less than three minutes of footage accumulated over three months and edited by an entity with an agenda?

The 3 minutes of video, part of that repeating, that showed 4 employees acting badly, 3 of whom were already fired for those actions already, cut in with an unsupported accusation against the rest, is produced by a special interest group with an axe to grind and an agenda to drive.

It really shouldn’t be hard for people to see through that.

People see what they want to see.

FOF had already fired 3 of the 4 employees in the video BEFORE, it was released. They fired the fourth immediately.

They are installing cameras in all areas so that tourists and auditors visiting the farm can see for themselves.

Ask yourself this, if this behavior is so endemic, as suggested, why don’t they have more footage?

As long as they don’t close the doors I don’t care.

The milk lasts 2 weeks longer than Kleinpeter and tastes better.

That’s why I was asking the question, not suggesting. I asked b/c I don’t know anything about dairy farm life.
