Yes, and from the beginning. This was kind of the problem with episode 1. In the first part 11 years prior, there is no inclination they are gay so..... All friendships have an undercurrent of homosexuality? Is that the point?
That and sexual identity is the most complex thing ever, when it really isn't....it isn't SJW...it's just overwhelmingly progressive in approach. And not in a good way seeing as the ending kind of celebrates a marriage now built on infidelity both ways. It painted them as happy, and put together, where the usual end to Black Mirror is a haunting pathos.
A better end for this particular episode would have shown them ruining the kid's life because of this arrangement. THAT would have been a Black Mirror episode, but they took the politically progressive approach that sexuality ruling lives is the moral and right thing to do. Everyone is happy with what they get. Just a lame ending that doesn't challenge the story it sets up.
Terrible and politically heavy handed episode.
