Why don’t roaches die on their belly? How do they get on their back? Pretty handy for us humans though.

Maybe it only died because it got stuck on its back and couldn't flip back over.

Legs relax and sink towards central axis of body upon death, leaving an off-centered mass of an already lightweight chitinous exoskeleton.
Small wind gusts and movements will make the top-heavy mass overturn to a stable position: The back.

Damn pectus, you sound smart using those big words instead of just saying the frickers just fall over.

Most of the time it's because they are crawling on the wall or ceiling and slip on a surface and fall on the floor.
When they get stuck upside down they are doomed and stuck unless they are flipped over.

How do turtles get on their back?

They feel the need to perform one last disgusting act to repulse us by rolling over and showing us the nasty freaky legs and abdomen. Frick roaches!

I like when I spray them and they almost immediately start slowing down and begin to struggle. Even if they go somewhere I can't see them, I know I have won.

Doesn't matter if they die upside down, on their head, on their side, or feet, as long as those vile frickers are dead.

There is some satisfaction about the kicking and twitching over a quick stomp.
