If any game deserves a remaster, it’s this. The story was great, mixing the occult levels with good old fashioned WW2 FPS. Stealth counted, and I liked how you got thrown into dealing with the undead experiments and then tasked to steal a Nazi Rocketplane.

The penultimate level where you had to kill the Nazi generals without sounding the alarm to prevent them from going to the seance to raise the Prince was really cool, sneaking from house to house with your silenced Sten and a knife.

Doom got a good game with the remastered version of Doom 3 that hit PS3 that really fixed all the issues from a really quality shooter. I really enjoy single player campaigns where you had a good story that invested you in the action rather than “let’s charge you $60 for an online multiplayer that caters to 14 year olds that can spend ungodly amounts of time playing

The multiplayer was the best ever. Beach invasion was amazing. I spent so much time playing that game.

I remember being really impressed by the beginning of the game where you’re trying to escape the castle.

Those first impressions are what I remember best about the game.

Original Wolfenstein (Apple II) is the original stealth action game and heavily influenced even the FPS genre to a great degree.

A legendary, original HOF type game, up there with Pac-Man, Asteroids, Pong, etc.

I unfortunately never played it back then because Allied Assault came out around the same time.
