I wouldn’t doubt PM picks Skip’s brain now and then...but I can’t imagine Skip would want to have any control of what decisions PM makes. Any coach of any sport that had an asset like Skip at hand and didn’t gain some knowledge from that asset would not be doing their job.

They talk and Paul bounces things off him. He’d be crazy not to

Does Skip still get the camp money?
Of course not there is no way Skip would ever find a way to ensure he still got a cut of the pie no matter who the coach is as long he is alive. Skip would be that last person to ever work a deal like that. Skip ran that camp to squeeze every last penny out of it and did a good job of it.

when you get older you’ll understand what it means to be a true leader. Mature men take advice from other men. They listen and try to understand in order to improve themselves. They know that when we stop learning or aren’t willing to learn, it is time to hang it up.
The fundamentals of baseball are the same as they have been for over 100 years. . CPM lost his father who was a big influence on his life and a HOF coach who I’m sure he bounced ideas off of all the time. When you’ve been influenced by another coach and the guy that hired you was tGOAT baseball coach you won’t hesitate to go to him for opinions.
At least that’s what a great leader would do...
This is true. Applying this at my job, I’ve learned lots of good stuffs from my experienced co-workers. Well said.

Hmmm... so you’re telling me the guy pretty much responsible for the renaissance of college baseball might be able to infer issues with a college baseball team?
