Yuli being up now really pisses me off. No way should he be fourth

Yuli needs to hook one around the pole in left.

Well, at least he tried to do the right thing but he's just not good enough to do it.

Lot of pinch hit options available next inning. Stubbs for chirinos. Mayfield for fatass. If someone gets on miles needs to pinch run.

0-4 1 k 4 lob. A one pitch at bat with men at 1st and 3rd and no outs. This was a turd of a performance for yuli

Yordan is having a good night for the Express. Does that make you feel any better? Yeah...me too.

Congratulations on your lack of reading comprehension. Correa plays 120-130 games a year.

What did I not comprehend?

Your core players need to play at least 145, preferably 150 or more. Durability is as important as skill.

You didn’t post this previously. Of course 150 is preferable but 120 and playoff availability is more important.

Of note josh Rojas is now with the express and is 2-2 with a double and triple. He’s a sneaky kid to Keep an eye on

I’m not hating on Yuli for tonight, he hit the ball harder than anyone else and I mean it’s not like he was the only one not getting hits tonight.

It really has been. The strikeout looking in the first with brantley at third still irks me.

So he gets 75% of "market value" for what a player of his caliber dictates.

That’s a good argument, we’ll see how he performs over the next couple of years and I’m sure the offer will reflect performance and availability. He’ll be 26 heading into his prime, barring some catstephic injury, I’d cautiously stretch.

He’s about to be sub.700 ops and is now batting clean up. He can’t keep giving us one pitch pop ups behind Bregman and Brantley.

I'd put money on our bullpen blowing the game right here.

Good. You be the other team and take the financial risk. I'll take some of your prospects in return.

How are you going to get my prospects in an FA signing?

I didn't realize Rojas had been promoted. Makes sense with all the movement at the top lately.

I wonder if they'll even keep Toro in Corpus until the AA all-star game. He's the best hitter in the Texas League.

quote:

Abraham Toro, 3B, Astros
Team: Double-A Corpus Christi (Texas)
Age: 22
Why He’s Here: .536/.610/.893 (15-for-28), 7 R, 2 2B, 1 3B, 2 HR, 10 RBIs, 5 BB, 4 SO The Scoop: With Yordan Alvarez and Kyle Tucker tearing it up in Triple-A, Toro is flying under the radar a level below. The switch-hitter was on a tear this past week, but he has been making noise all year long. His .337 batting average, .434 on-base percentage and .998 OPS are all the best in the Texas League, and he’s shown the ability to hit for power from both sides of the plate. (JN)

I love the asshat with the W flag while there's one more out and it's a one run game.

Stop fricking jinxing it, a-hole.

eta: Welp, avoided the sweep at least. It's something

Let it hit you fatass. Of course his reflexes are fast enough to get out of the way of 92 but not to tag a guy.
