Any truth to the rumor that Forbes was forced out by some parents that disapproved of him being a tough coach? Guess they really don't care about all those 2 state championships.

Coach Sid looking to grab the trifecta football basketball baseball

So they're going the St Amant route of forcing out a championship coach that will bring them what?

If true, they’re idiots. He’s one of the best coaches in the state. He’ll be unemployed for about 5 minutes and their program will go down the drain.

That’s what I heard. For the admins to let parents run him off is spineless on their part.

shite is this 100 percent true? I played there when he was an assistant and also was an assistant with him one year after he got the head job when I was still in college. They won’t get anyone better. Complete bullshite if true.

That’s wild if true. Wouldn’t surprise me a bit, that would be Central at its finest.

This has happened several times at St. Mary’s for various reasons, including a state championship baseball coach who now coaches across town at Natchitoches Central.

He made no friends with his methods last few years. Not surprised if true.

High water mark for Zachary’s little brother. Sounds about right that they run off a championship coach.

It was time for St Amant to make a move. But they made a bad one.

Which makes those runs that much more impressive. How’s the coach at Chalmette doing in the playoffs these days?

Low seed or now they still won state beating barbe at barbe if I’m remember correctly. If anyone knows the programs and remembers the first playoff series against Denham Mike has those boys fired up after an opening game lose. You could tell that day those kids were playing their hearts out for that man and he gave that team all he had also.

First round loss is doing good?

As a 32 seed not getting run ruled, yes
