The big question for next years team is depth. Our 5-6 are going to be great. The question is how good will our 7-9 be.

Players that will need to step up big next year are...

Bishop
Manning
Cooper
Hyatt

From what I’ve heard, Manning could come in and start right away.

Wade will have this team dancing again next year, trust me.

I have to disagree with this. This past season our top line talent (1-6) was obviously really good and was better than what we’ll have this season. 7-8 (Williams & Days) while talented, could be a bit inconsistent, which should improve this year. But that’s where it ended last year.

This year, based on just assumed talent alone, this team could easily run 10 guys out there without much drop off. Collectively the talent won’t be to the level of this past year’s team, but it will be deeper, and that is counting Graves, who I believe showed he can give you at least 5-8 quality minutes per game on both sides of the ball. And if Wade can pull a rabbit out of his hat in the form of a transfer or new signee, they might even go 11 deep.

I definitely agree with this. At face value, idk that this team is necessarily a 2nd weekend team; but could maybe shape up into one. But with great coaching, they should definitely be a top 5–6 SEC team and in the tournament again next year. From there, it just will depend on how the matchup falls as to how far they go.

Overall though, the biggest thing I’ll be looking for from Wade this season is to see if he can get this team to buy in more on the defensive end from season tip to end and become a top 25 defensive unit. He showed his first season that he can take a subpar talented team and still make them good on the offensive side of the ball. I think the key this year is to become a good to elite defensive team as well.
