What in your opinion is his plan?

Does he still have a card left to play?

Does the NKs mark on him have any significance?

What the frick is going on here?

Going back in time and watching all the hot chicks do it. He's been beating off under those furs the whole time.

if D&D were competent, yes there should be something left with Bran. His storyline is too big to just be done like they've ended it so far.

However, I don't think they are competent, so I highly doubt he will have anything meaningful in the last episode.

I feel like his entire purpose, for the story, was to get the NK to Winterfell for that dud of a performance.

Which was a terrible ending to his story. But presumably the best they managed to come up with.

Another massive waste of potential.

Yep. If they leave it like it is, the entire point to his story is basically being bait to get the NK to Winterfell in order to decimate much of Dany's army so the battle at KL is more even.

I think you nailed it.

Brans entire story arc is basically a living fishing lure for the NK.

I imagine he taps into his and his dead before the series began Uncle's namesake and repairs the wall so the font of magic it is stays around.

After that I dunno. Maybe he brings back the Children or starts a new network of Weirwoods.

I don't know but this actor is the luckiest actor in the history of TV. Rich and famous to sit in a chair and stare straight ahead for 8 years

I truly don't think D&D understand the character and just used him to advance the plot with things that are hard to explain/need proof (like getting to see the wedding). I hope I'm wrong, but I don't anticipate anything of value from Bran next week.

confirmed existence of the undead and an ability to warg and see the past and future and it goes fricking nowhere.

What an awful way this otherwise great series has come to a close. It’s not even a debate of how some characters should or shouldn’t have ended up but simply of how verisimilitude and actions befitting of characters’ arcs do not line up in any coherent fashion down the stretch. From a storytelling perspective, they have completely failed feet from the finish line.

But then HBO did arguably the same thing with True Detective seasons 1 and 3 and Westworld season 2 so why am I surprised. They’re the UGA of premium cable, putting out a great product for 90% of the run only to completely undo what they’ve built up to in the final minutes.
