Internet provider in Nashville area

I've narrowed it down to U-Verse or Xfinity (which I did not know was Comcast) and they're roughly the same comparable to what I pay for Cox here in Baton Rouge.
Anyone in that area (or in general) have experience with both and would recommend one over the other?
Thinking about getting the higher tier for the first 12 months and then bumping down to a lower tier before the promotional price expires.
TIA

Isn't Google Fiber out there? Not in your area?

you can get a promo $49/mo xfinity blast with 1TB data cap if you call them and ask for the special for 2 years i believe.
i hate the data cap; i hit it almost every month.

I have ATT Fiber. $80/mo with no caps and speeds are typically in the 800s. Love it. I'm in Nashville, so I'm not sure what your options are that far out in the burbs.

I'm down in Spring Hill and I have Spectrum at 400MBPS, and it works great for me. Not sure if you're looking for something more than that. FWIW, I work from home and use internet for that, and then I stream on 5-6 devices and have rarely ever experienced any buffering.
I just bought the standalone internet as I cut cable and don't need a home phone. $44.99 per month and no long term contract.
