A good breakdown from Chance Linton on each 5-star recruit, the status of their recruitment, thoughts from the 247 rankings team and even NFL comps.
Of the 28 players in the 2020 class that are currently rated as five-star prospects by the Composite, 12 are already committed to a college football program, while the remaining 16 are still undecided on where they will play in college.
Eight programs currently have at least one commitment from a five-star prospect in this year’s class. Clemson leads the way with four, followed by LSU with two, while Alabama, Georgia, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Stanford and Texas A&M each have one.

I thought that LSU had 3. I guess I'm looking at it wrong.

The article and their top players and LSU is all pretty amazing.
The pictures of the players I included in the OP were in Shea Dixon's tweet.
There are quite a few others that LSU is interested in that may have reciprocal interest. Paris Johnson, Zachary Evans, etc. I can't even think of all of them without looking at the list.

He brings too much positive info to the board.

Nobody hates me.
They all love me very much.
They can't stand the fact that they love me so much that they follow me around like groupees and post about me in my threads. They rarely post about the subject, mostly just about me. They just love talking about me and trying to get me to talk back to them. It helps them sleep at night when I engage them.

That is a 24/7 article. The latest commit - Antoine Sampah out of Virginia is a 5-star ILB on Rivals.
On 24/7 he is a very highly rated 4-star and the #32 player in the nation per the composite rankings.

247 ends with 32 5*. Sampah will get a 5th star on that site eventually as long as he doesn't drop in their rankings.

Clue: Has something to do with vinegar and water.

That pic of Justin Flowe scares me for any running back in his vicinity.

Honestly, 247 stars aren't consistent. Their own rating system isn't consistent.
LINK
Players are first grouped qualitatively with a star rating, then given a numerical rating based on their future potential, and finally ranked according to these numerical ratings.
Their 5 star rating process contradicts itself. In the same paragraph says "Top 30", "composite above 98" and "top 32 to simulate draft" Sampah and Burton are above 98, but they are ranked 32 and 35 nationally, so 247 gives them 4 stars. Sampah, at a minimum, should be a 5 star on 247, he is ranked 32 nationally. Also, I would think the composite would carry more weight than the rankings.
Also, only the top 28 are given 5 stars right now. Shouldn't it be the top 32?
I know, i know, ranking don't matter.

110 - 101 = Franchise Player. One of the best players to come along in years, if not decades. Odds of having a player in this category every year is slim. This prospect has "can’t miss" talent.
100 - 98 = Five-star prospect. One of the top 30 players in the nation. This player has excellent pro-potential and should emerge as one of the best in the country before the end of his career. There will be 32 prospects ranked in this range in every football class to mirror the first round of the NFL Draft.
97 - 90 = Four-star prospect. One of the top 300 players in the nation. This prospect will be an impact-player for his college team. He is an All-American candidate who is projected to play professionally.

COMMENTS
89 - 80 = Three-star prospect. One of the top 10% players in the nation. This player will develop into a reliable starter for his college team and is among the best players in his region of the country. Many three-stars have significant pro potential.
79 - below = Two-star prospect. This player makes up the bulk of Division I rosters. He may have little pro-potential, but is likely to become a role player for his respective school.

Everyone, Alabama included, will be playing for second in a couple of years.

There will be.
There is a team two states to the east that 24/7 needs 5-star spots for as they get commits from low 3-star players. They are trying not to lose subscriptions of other fan bases this year by dropping as many recruits.
This way they can just bump their favorite team's new commits and the casual observers will just notice the team's rankings going up. But, since their team won't necessarily have to drop, everyone will be happy and remain members.

Still want to see LSU push for Evans
quote:
Evaluation: Dynamically athletic running back with prototype size and frame potential relative to the position. Owns college-ready build with frame space to add more bulk. Flashes elite athleticism verified in combine testing environment. Makes it look easy, sometimes to the point that it's deceptive. Shows great top-end speed and outstanding close-quarters lateral mobility confirmed by a 3.91 shuttle. Flashes devastating start-stop-start ability in close quarters, coupled with impressive hesitation stutter. Effortlessly strings moves together in the open field to elude multiple defenders. Chameleon in ability to alter running styles, going from elusive darter to hole-punching, straight-line galloper. Home run hitter with high-volume capability. Patient and presses the line of scrimmage to set up blocks. Size and strength potential could provide high ceiling in blitz pickup. At times dances in the backfield rather than accelerating through the hole. Sometimes an upright runner who presents a bigger target. Does not always finish runs with expected strength. Will try to bounce runs too often. Could get on the field immediately at high-major level and become a Power 5 star, in addition to first-round NFL Draft ceiling.

Think we have a chance with Evans?

I like him until he started talking shite and f-bombing posters.
I like the positive news and stuff.
But, if rolling with positive, then stay positive and cut the vitriol

He is the anti-Negatiger who long ago declared war on them and vice versa. He posts some good info from time to time. I have no issue with him.
