Aside from the cold and snow, the rural North is pretty much exactly like the rural South. You would be blown away

Why the frick do people live here?
Do you live there? I had a somewhat unusual experience in that I worked on projects for 2 weeks up to 6 months in various cities with some weekends home. I spent almost an entire winter in Cleveland and another in Buffalo. Granted didn't have to maintain property.

Where are y'all thinking? I lived in Bozeman for most of my childhood. It's awesome, but crazy expensive when I look at at houses there now.
My dad has a place a few miles outside of Bozeman near Springhill Park. I've never been to his place but I've been to Bozeman a few times.

60 miles south? She at Mayo? I love Minnesota. Cold doesn’t bother me much and the nice weather is amazing. Tons of lakes and outdoor activities. Tons of crazy liberals with white guilt. Not much “culture” outside of a few patches of Somalis
No, tiny liberal arts college
Really haven’t decided if live in the Twin Cities or not

My company has a branch there. I would rather live in MS. They have a cold that a southern man can't handle.

Played golf in late june and course had only been open 2 weeks !!!!! They said they had a long winter that year.

No I worked this past winter in rural Northern Ohio. Have done winters in Philadelphia, but you don't even need a car in Philly. Big cities aren't as bad. Doesn't Buffalo have the underground walking tunnels?

You can admit you work for target

Food and weather are where it ends though. And that's enough to say the North is much shittier

Some. Oddly enough Lincoln, Nebraska had some above ground catwalks in some buildings downtown where you never had to go outside. The coldest weather I've ever been in was in Omaha/Lincoln in February.

not really the same as rural South with population
Weather is ideal from now until Christmas
January- March and sometimes April can be bad
Very little CFB culture in Minnesota
