You think the courts got this one right?
I can see how the cop may have felt threatened for a moment and fired a shot or two but he continues to run the car down firing into the car wildly. Seems ridiculous to me.
Just realized he only fired twice and it was in the beginning.

If he's willing to attempt to run over a cop with his car, then he MUST be stopped. He will absolutely run over someone else.

Yes. Contrast it with the Arlington, Texas, cop who jumped on the running board when the detainee rolled up his window and started driving off.

I hate to say it, but at least it was the black cop that did the shooting and not the white cop.

I’m 80% in agreement with this. I have seen a couple - 1 in particular - of “he was trying to run over me” shootings that didn’t sit well with me.

I have friend on facebook who is retired cop...

I showed my 16 year old son, he immediately said "you can't just shoot a person like that, that's wrong"
