Just out of curiosity.

I order the majority of my stuff from RockAuto, or Amazon if I need fast shipping. I prefer getting the OEM part if I can.

I used to work in supply chain for NAPA corporate and I will say that out of all of the aftermarket brands, NAPA is definitely the best. If I need something quickly in a pinch I will get it at NAPA.

Autozone and O’Reilly brands are OK as far as quality, and the price reflects it. Advanced Auto is crap.

A lot of NAPA-branded stuff is made by the OEM suppliers too.

Pull a part works if I’m grabbing something for the interior or a low labor job like an alternator or ignition coil or something.

If it’s a job that involves at least an hour of time for the job I’m gonna get a new part so I don’t have to replace it again after it fails in a year.

This^. I can't remember the last time that I've bought car parts as a replacement and did it myself.

At one time that was true, but that hasn't been the case for a while now. NAPA is crap nowadays.

Nothing but NAPA! Anytime I've moved or been transferred the first place I hit is the NAPA store to introduce myself. But I'm a farmer by birth, mechanic by trade.

Speaking of Napa...Go check out the new store on Airline between Siegen and Jefferson across from the old Troop A.
