Like that forest 10 miles off the Alabama coast in 60 feet of water that show that 8,000 years ago the ocean level was 400 feet lower than it is today.

So, what level are the oceans supposed to be.

What did ancient man do to cause global warming?

Propaganda, Louisiana coastal loss is not a result of climate change. How can they be taken serious when they are misleading as to the causation of the problem here in Louisiana.

Sea Level Cretaceous

I know it was a long time ago but the water was high and the land low. 92 million years ago.

You guys have been saying for like 20 years that cities will be underwater.

Longer than that...you would think this mindless, scare tactic, climate change non-sense would be what was under water after all these false prophesies have failed to materialize. Some folks call it a religion and I would call it more like a cult as they closely parallel these religious cults with their false prophecies such as Jehovah's Witnesses about Jesus' return and such. Somehow these cult groups inexplicably don't get called out properly when their "enlightened predictions" don't occur and keep going even though most rational people eventually accept that these doom predictors are full of it!

I've never understood why this is considered a bad thing. Year round warm weather and quick access to beaches is what put Florida on the map.

This x 1,000!

Seriously there is a lemming element to the believers but the puppet masters are all about a political agenda with it. They know it's hooey but they also know the lemmings can make them a lot of money, bring them a lot of political power, and are easy sells on the propaganda.

That's how the native Americans walked to North America 12,000 years ago was even shallower. And how the Aborigines got to Australia. The abo stories tell of when certain islands were peninsulas.

During ice age.

So yes of course none of the warming had anything to do with burning coal.

However, man can in fact make it warmer so Greenland glaciers melt, which apparently is accelerating.

Our influence can transcend natural cycles.

Remember the reason why the Mississippi River snakes it way to the ocean where it does is because the area of the delta is sinking into the ocean basin and provides the best/easiest path to the sea. And artificial levees along the river keep little sediment from flowing into the adjoining marsh. You should know and probably do know the Mississippi River has a history of changing course, sometimes a lot on a several thousand year time frame. All those Breton Sound and Chandelier Islands are reworked deltas that in time shifted to other positions. The current track of the Mississippi is a very human influenced at this point. But make no mistake, the area of the delta is sinking continuously if not gradually. I'll leave my coastal geology lesson at this.

Totally agree, the coastal erosion/sinking is not a result of climate change, at least to the the degree they want us to believe.
