Saw him Friday. They packed the panel with an Asian and a super nerdy female version of Sheldon Cooper. Holzhauer still kicked their arse, but they managed to take a lot of $ off the board. Funny thing, one of the questions was “the manifold that supplies air and fuel to to an internal combustion engine”. None of the 3 even hit the buzzer. How could not one of them know the answer?

That is a super-special level of nerdy.. Even i knew that, and i’m not mechanically-inclined at all.. but i only knew it cuz the category was “Phrases with the word ‘take’” , ha

That's the thing, having a photographic memory does not equate to overall intelligence. I respect the guy and it's incredible what he's doing. But he probably couldn't change a fricking tire.
