Oh okay I appreciate the response. Hopefully some of the girls on the team can step up and get better for next season. I’d love to see Ruby get better personally.

Ruby is really big example of what is wrong with coaches in the elite world. Ruby is an extremely gifted gymnast and has done a lot in this sport, but I hated her coaches. It was 100% all about difficulty and nothing on execution. All they did was slam her elite routines with difficult skills and try to outscore people. She was able to outscore many on bars but was never able to truly get to that next level since the execution was sloppy.
That is the big reason why she struggled extremely early at LSU. NCAA level is all about consistency and clean execution, the complete opposite of everything her coaches focused on in the elite world.
That said, I expect a big year for Ruby as a senior. She has cleaned up on every event really well and has been much more consistent.
