After having served as AD over the past ten years. How will he be looked at 20 years from now by the average LSU fan?

An introverted clown from the North East tried fitting in with S. Louisiana and failed miserably

Definitely, unlike other ADs who were a little disliked while here and looked at favorably later, he will be viewed as a fish out of water and one that really had the Anti-Midas touch while at LSU. History will not be on the side of this dude for sure.

No matter what else he does in his life, Joe Alleva’s legacy in NCAA athletics will always be Duke Lacrosse, and rightfully so.

If you mean at LSU, it will be this, for better or worse

As a scum bag that destroyed a sports team without proof. Nothing else he did before or has done since matters.

When I think of Alleva, I think of how much he corporatized LSU athletics. LSU sports under his tenure were far different (worse) than when I was a kid.

Duke lacrosse is his legacy by far. A distant second is the Les Miles debacle/Coach O

I know shite about running a college athletic program and I could do this at LSU. Dude was a fricking clown.
