After barely surviving the first rotation on beam and an unremarkable floor start Lexie Priesmann's solid floor routine gave the Tigers the jump start they needed. Despite battling multiple injuries , the last being a torn bicep Lexie had a great routine and set the stage for Kennedi, Sarah and McKenna to get the Tiger train back on track and rolling.

Kudos to a great gymnast who along with the other three seniors came up big today when it was all on the line. This has to be a confidence booster to know they overcame adversity, a couple of under scores and still came close to beating the defending national champions.

The stage is now set for what could be the biggest night in LSU Gymnastics history. They have knocked on the door three times, gotten one foot inside the throne room. They are in Texas where that famous Texan Bum Phillips once said." Now lets kick that SOB door in."

There were so many LSU fans there today. UCLA had the next biggest number of fans. I bet OU will have a lot there this evening but I was glad to have been there today.

Lexie is honestly my Hero,,,, that is one of the toughest and yet sweetest and most sincere people I have ever met.
She has truly been an inspiration to my wife and I, and we feel truly fortunate to call her a friend!!!
