We'll see what 2019 has in store.
It looks like LSU will be favored over Texas @ Texas on September 7th though.
Think about that for a minute.
Herman was a consensus HC choice over Orgeron, yet in the third iteration of the two coaches' teams, LSU is doing pretty well by comparison. Granted, if CoachO's team gets its 4 doors blown off in Austin, the narrative will look very different on Sept 8th.
But this ex-NoEaux poster is at least willing to give the Devil his due.

Whether we are on an upward trajectory is debatable, but I think most rational fans agree that regardless of how he got the job, the job is his now and he deserves the opportunity to succeed or fail on his own merits.
He absolutely deserves the opportunity to prove he can continue to keep LSU at a high level and make a legit run at the SEC and NC within a reasonable period of time. IMO, he deserves 2-3 years minimum barring a total disaster (5 or more regular season losses).

What I said was if 0 wins hardware a lot of people you’ve mislabeled will appreciate it and accept that he can coach. That’s true

No those fans still watch and pull for LSU 100% they pulled for LSU long before 0 was here. You don’t know the definition of bandwagon fan. Until a coach proves he can win something anyone calling him a winner is just wishing.
