People weren't happy and pointed to his time at Duke. Except for Tiger Ree, who loved it. Only he posted as Derek123 then.

It was pretty bad because of the Duke Lacrosse shite, but there were definitely some optimistic people because he came off strong and smart in his first press conference if I remember correctly.

I remember having mixed feelings but wanted to give him a chance. I didn’t turn on Joe until the 2015 Miles debacle.

I didn't like it because of his football hires, the baseball incident and the Lacrosse fiasco.

Alleva never had any business being at LSU. He came from a program that was only known for Basketball, and he probably had nothing to do with the program in any way, just sign the checks. If anything Duke athletics improved after he left.
