That doesn’t exactly scream Ausberry to me.

How many times have we heard this bs from LSU and end up with the likes of Jones, Laval, Caldwell, Orgeron? Do you trust Alexander to make this type of hire without putting some politically correct spin on it? I sure as hell dont.

Thank God.

Ausberry might be named interim for the time being, just so someone is officially "in charge" and can sign official shite...but I never figured he would seriously be considered for the main gig.

When an AD is purged, it is interesting to see which staff stays and which staff goes. Skip Bertman's best achievement as AD was getting rid of all of Joe Dean's worthless cronies and bringing in people who actually knew what they were doing.

so one slip up and the football program will once again be in position to have a qualified head coach.

I am not saying that Joe made the best hire possible but if you are looking at the development of our football team over the last 2.5ish years and you still don't think O is at the very least a "qualified head coach" then you have your head in the sand.

What about F King? Nothing is solved until we are absolved of him too.

Vol said last night that the heat is on, but it's a way bigger deal to replace a university president as opposed to an AD. It could happen, but not any time soon

Not sure Alleva saw things shaking out the way they have when the Yahoo report first surfaced

It was the fork in the road of his career. Had he stood behind Wade and told Yahoo and Dick Vitale to frick off, he would have garnered so much support from the fanbase. Instead, he threw a beloved coach under the bus for no reason and incinerated what little goodwill remained for him with fans.

If this happens... I, for one, will miss tiger ree/fat goebbels. With his Coast Guard license with a first class pilot endorsement, he'll land nicely somewhere with a sweet job tugging people.

I think a lot of people are going to ignore Orgeron's actual success simply because of how Alleva hired him.... or just the fact that Alleva was the one that hired him.

Then who's on deck? You don't run somebody off without a replacement.

Let me guess? Ausberry. No thank you.

He will be interim. Deserves to be because he knows what’s been going on and is a fan of Will Wade.

I think the BoS and TAF are going to run this hiring process and F. King will just take the credit.
