Funny. Winnfield is #1 in power ratings in 2A. Most of those same kids were on the football team that only won two games.

Our high school was like this. Couldnt score 7 to save our lives in October but would consistently 10+ come springtime

Why would you link subjective power rankings from LA Sportsline? Their opinions don't matter at all in the playoff seeding (and they are morons)
LHSAA Power rankings, since that is all that matters for seeding.

Yeah...big swing and a miss here. LHSAA site last updated 6 days ago. Sportsline updated daily. If there are differences, it’s because the LHSAA is behind.

Yeah, I'm not sure about that. I've checked both all season to see if they agree at all, and even on days when the LHSAA is posted, the order of the teams is not in agreement.

For Div 1 basketball LA Sportsline was right and LHSAA standings were actually wrong until after the season was over and they fixed the error. They are both "unofficial" until the end anyway.

The LHSAA's formula is as such.....using this formula doesn't add up to those rankings.
Win=20
Each Class up Bonus 2
Win = 100% of opponents wins
