re: I'm done with LSU baseball and basketball until we have a new A.D.

I think what makes it worse is the preseason expectations too.
Our baseball team was “loaded” with a promising core of returning players plus the consensus #1 recruiting class, yet it hasn’t materialized anywhere close to the expectations outside of a 7 or 8 game stretch 2 weeks ago. It also took a cast off player to come back and provide an offensive spark for a lackluster lineup. So much so that he’s batting cleanup, or was until the injury.
Basketball had high hopes and actually exceeded expectations. They did this because the head coach established so much chemistry and a winning culture that the team overcame a fallen teammate and his absence to get to the sweet sixteen.
One program, with the return of its coach seems like it will continue to climb while the other is as stagnant as ever.

The Mizzou series has been a disappointment, but too much remains left in this season for me to give up as some seem to want to do.
